DJ Shadow, (real name: Satheerth Kunneth), Dubai’s finest desi DJ and the resident DJ of the Middle East’s biggest Asian Night – Kandy Club, has differentiated himself from other producers by creating remixes which go beyond the conventional boundaries, and is all set to create a niche for himself and his partner in crime Zoheb, with upcoming remixes for household Asian artists such as H-Dhami ,Sona Family and Jay Sean. Previously i posted his Stay remix, Jay Sean’s third single from the album “My Own Way” after the smash hits “Ride It” and “Maybe.” Shadow’s remix takes the R&B flavoured song to a different level by adding desi beats and extra vocals to the tune, blending it seamlessly into the tune with such an efficiency that it would make you consider it as an original production rather than a remix! The Punjabi vocals by Anushka gives it an added edge, and her lyrics complement the existing lyrics by Jay Sean. The remix has already been A-listed on BBC Radio Asian Network in the UK for five weeks in a row and has been played heavily on all major radio stations across the UK including Club Asia.
